Who We Are
M A Consultants was established in 1982, by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Moemen Afify, Professor of Architecture and Environmental Design, At Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. During those years, since the firm was established, the firm designed large numbers of public and residential buildings, by which the firm was lately given Consultancy in Design of Public and Residential Buildings from the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate. In those years also, the firm joined several competitions in which the firm won prizes varying from the first prize to honorable mention in all competitions that the firm joined. In 2003, the firm won the Egyptian Government Scientific Research Institute Prize for Innovation in the Design of Industrial Buildings for the year 2003.
Objectives , mission , vision
M A Consultants has outlined a basic objective and mission during the last 39 years in which it operated, that could be outlined in the following basic points:
- Clean and simple architecture would be easily read and would provide a continuing image.
- Efficiency and Economics in Design is based on simple design, which takes into consideration all electromechanical requirements at early design stages.
- Environmental design is a must in the future of mankind.

MA Consultants designed and supervised the construction of several large project in Egypt which includes Office Buildings and Interiors, Retail, Hypermarkets, Industrial Buildings, Warehouses and Logistics Centers, car Showrooms and Service Centers, Educational Buildings, and well as several other types of buildings. M A Consultants is also specialized in Green and Sustainable Buildings Design. Energy Efficient buildings is one of the building expertise the firm is specialized in. Four of the projects that M A Consultants Designed and Supervised were awarded the LEED Certificate from the United States Green Building Council.
